FOREVER IN SEARCH OF GOOD COFFEE AND GOLDEN HOUR
I’ve loved taking photos of everything and everyone for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was insufferable about it. As an adult I realized I could combine my love for storytelling with photography to help tell the best story of them all: yours.
That’s the short story. This is the long one:
I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, so I’m a fighting potato through and through. I’ve been lucky to have a lot of adventures and meet a lot of neat people.
I’m a natural light photographer. The world is my studio (cheesy I know)
I’ve lived in five places:
Nampa, Idaho
Boise, Idaho
Moscow, Idaho
Eugene, Oregon
Portland, Oregon
and now, Moscow, Idaho, again!
I really like school and telling stories. I have a Bachelors in Journalism from the University of Idaho and a Masters in Journalism from the University of Oregon (Sco Ducks!).
I’ve been a bartender, barista, local journalist, photographer and communications professional.
By day, I’m a corporate communications specialist supporting global teams. By night, I’m a gremlin eating weird veggies and watching great movies, like How To Train Your Dragon and the 1999 cinematic masterpiece: The Mummy.
My favorite color is gray.
My blood type is dark roast espresso.
I cry while listening to the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack. Who doesn’t?
I have two cats: Loca and Kitten.
I also have an Australian Shephard / Border Collie named Morty. He runs very fast. I do not.
I live in Moscow with my neat husband, Jakob, and our adorable furbabies mentioned above. We are so very fortunate to be surrounded by a wonderful community of family and friends and wouldn’t have it any other way.
